COVID-19 Update #1 Re: StaR 2020 Summit

​Dear StaR Child Health Members & Colleagues,

All of us hope that you are keeping well during this stressful and difficult time. We appreciate the incredible healthcare professionals working in our hospitals and clinics, as well as everyone in our child health research community working on solutions to slow the spread and reduce the morbidity and mortality of COVID-19.

We continue to closely monitor the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and work with the McMaster University team that leads the Cochrane Colloquium 2020 to determine the best course of action for the upcoming StaR Child Health Summit, which is scheduled to take place from October 2-3 2020 in Toronto, Canada. We are committed to communicating the decision about whether to continue with our 2020 Summit plans by mid-June 2020. We recognize that an earlier decision would be helpful for planning purposes and will update this page as soon as we have news.

We thank you for your patience and understanding as we determine whether it is safe and feasible to hold the exciting StaR 2020 Summit this October in Toronto.
